The Role

Are you a motivated and reliable electrician who enjoys autonomy as well as being part of a growing team? Then this role is for you. Based in Hervey Bay, you would support our team of smoke alarm electricians and technicians to primarily service the Hervey Bay region as well as occasionally Childers, Maryborough and surrounding areas.

We require an experienced, friendly and reliable electrician/smoke alarm service technician to work Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm with no weekend work. The core role is the maintenance of smoke alarms in residential properties and undertaking smoke alarm upgrades to meet with the new Queensland smoke alarm standards. The role also includes maintenance electrical work (domestic).

The successful candidate will possess:

A current Queensland Electrical License

A current driver’s license (manual)

Proven ability to work unsupervised

Be self‑driven to work in a fast‑paced environment

Ability to climb and work from ladders

Accuracy and attention to detail is a must

The candidate should possess a high level of record keeping skills, attention to detail and the ability to work safely and accurately. In addition, the candidate will be well presented and personable.
