Operational Nurse Manager (Gde 5) - Fairfield Hospital - Perm FT

Selection Criteria

Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and Relevant post graduate qualifications or equivalent work experience or a combination of study and experience deemed appropriate by SWSLHD.
Demonstrated senior nursing experience with experience in leading staff and managing services in arelevant setting.
Proven ability to ensure the human, physical and financial resources of the service/facility are managedto provide safe, compassionate, quality care that is culturally responsive.
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and engage with patients/consumers, carers and the multidisciplinary health care team and to represent the nursing service inside and outside theorganisation.
Demonstrated capacity to interact with others in a personable and professional manner and manage conflicts and performance issues when they arise.
Demonstrated evidence of the use of critical thinking to set goals, formulate plans and policies to achieve identified outcomes.
Demonstrated understanding and participation in the implementation of organisational change, risk management, work health and safety and quality improvement in the workplace.
