Glenview Industries P/L is seeking an experienced Metal Machinist to join our production team on a full-time basis in South Nowra, NSW. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining machining equipment to produce high-quality metal components. As a Metal Machinist, you will play a role in ensuring our products meet required standards and are delivered on schedule to our valued clients.

Key responsibilities

- Operate precision machining equipment to produce metal components according to technical specifications and drawings
- Set up machinery, select appropriate tools and cutting fluids, and adjust machine parameters to achieve required tolerances and finishes
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machining equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity
- Read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Troubleshoot machine problems and make necessary adjustments to resolve issues and minimise downtime
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to meet production targets and deadlines
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organised work environment

What we're looking for

- Trade qualification or formal training in machining.
- Able to operate conventional machining equipment in a production setting




- Must be able to read technical drawings.
- Demonstrated ability to work to tight tolerances .
- Ability to work safely and follow health and safety procedures consistently
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
