ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper / Accountant to join our team in a full-time capacity.

You will work closely with our Partners and Accountants while managing your own client portfolio.

Your responsibilities will include:

Preparation and lodgement of Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS)

Bank and balance sheet reconciliations

Payroll processing and STP reporting

Superannuation processing and compliance

Assisting with preparation of financial reports

Liaising directly with clients via phone, email and meetings

Assisting clients with software queries & usage

ABOUT YOU

To be successful in this role,



you must have:

Minimum 2-3 years' experience in bookkeeping or public practice accounting within an Australian firm

Proven experience preparing and lodging BAS for multiple clients

Strong working knowledge of both Xero and MYOB

Additionally, you will have:

Exceptional attention to detail

Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

The ability to manage multiple clients confidently

A proactive and positive attitude

The ability to work effectively within a team

Experience with Handisoft and other accounting software will be highly regarded.
