Finn Valley is seeking an experienced Pipelayer to join our team in Newcastle and the Lower Hunter Region, NSW. As a Pipelayer, you will play a vital role in our civil construction operations to support the delivery of our projects. This job is based on-site in Newcastle and the Lower Hunter Region.
Job Tasks and Duties:
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Commitment to workplace health and safety
- Experience in in installation of underground services
Experience Required:
- Experience in different activities including – Drainage, Pavement Construction, Pit Lid installation,
top soiling & concreting etc.
- Ability to read and interpret plans and drawings
- Use of pipe lasers and other alignment equipment
- Knowledge of trench shoring and safe excavation practices
- Must be able to work hard, follow directions and be reliable.
- Solid work ethic and the ability to be flexible.
