The Wharf Restaurant & Bar offers diners and event guests a relaxed dining space overlooking one of Australia's most iconic views. Seating approximately 120, the venue attracts pre- and post-theatre diners as well as being a popular bar in its own right, drawing consistent patronage from the general public thanks to its spectacular views, great food, and relaxed, friendly environment.We are currently looking for a permanent Chef de Partie (CDP) to join our culinary team and be part of this vibrant and dynamic venue.
About the role
- Based at Pier 4, Dawes Point, close to the Harbour Bridge
- Work closely with the Sous and Head Chefs to ensure effective food production and quality control
- Run your own section in a busy pre-theatre environment
- Ensure the highest standards of presentation and quality
- Lunch and dinner shifts rotate Monday to Sunday
- Annual salary at $80,700 plus super
- Experience in fast paced a la carte service
- Passionate and open to learning new skills in the kitchen
- Hold valid working rights in Australia with the ability to work full time hours
