Cecam Projects is seeking an experienced and reliable Handyman/Carpenter to join our expanding team, servicing NSW insurance repairs, and residential maintenance works across Sydney.

This full-time role involves carrying out day-to-day responsive repairs, planned maintenance, and minor building works in tenanted and vacant residential properties. You will be working across a variety of homes, villas, apartments, and complexes, supported by a professional scheduling and management team.

Cecam Projects is seeking an experienced and reliable Handyman/Carpenter to join our expanding team, servicing NSW insurance repairs, and residential maintenance works across Sydney.

This full-time role involves carrying out day-to-day responsive repairs, planned maintenance, and minor building works in tenanted and vacant residential properties. You will be working across a variety of homes, villas, apartments, and complexes, supported by a professional scheduling and management team.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Carry out general residential maintenance repairs including patching, painting, plastering, basic plumbing, and minor tiling

- Complete carpentry tasks such as door repairs and replacements, frames, architraves, skirting, flooring, shelving, and general timber works

- Attend responsive/emergency repairs and make-safes when required

- Diagnose maintenance issues and provide clear recommendations

- Deliver professional, respectful service within tenanted properties

- Maintain a safe, clean work setting and follow all WHS and housing compliance requirements





- Liaise with schedulers and supervisors for daily job updates and reporting through our job management system

What We’re Looking For

- Several years of experience as a Handyman or Carpenter, ideally within residential maintenance, social housing, strata, or insurance repair environments

- Broad skillset across general building repairs (doors, patching, locks, painting, basic plumbing, gyprock, minor tiling etc.)

- Strong understanding of Australian building codes, WHS principles, and safe work practices

- Excellent communication skills and ability to work professionally around tenants and vulnerable residents

- Ability to work independently and reliably manage a daily schedule

- Valid NSW Driver’s Licence

- Valid Individual Contractor Licence OR relevant trade qualification

- Own tools (handyman/carpentry kit)

- White Card and Police Check (or willingness to obtain). WWCC optional for housing but preferred.
