Our busy and growing theatre complex supports a variety of services, including ophthalmology, neurology, general surgery, ENT, Urology, orthopaedics, gynaecology, vascular, endoscopy and plastics. We are seeking applications from experienced Registered Nurses for the following positions within our Perioperative Services team:

- Scrub/Scout
- Circulating
- Recovery
- Day Surgery

Key Selection Criteria

- Evidence of tertiary qualifications and current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Recent post graduate qualifications in Perioperative Nursing specialties in an acute hospital setting
- Sound clinical competence and knowledge of operating room procedures in your designated role
- Demonstrated ability to comprehensively conduct assessments, develop a plan for nursing practice, provide safe, appropriate and responsible quality nursing practice and evaluate patient outcomes
- Demonstrated commitment to own professional development to maintain, improve, and broaden knowledge, expertise, and competence within your role
- Commitment to quality patient care and outcomes; flexibility,

It is a mandatory condition of employment that some roles within our hospital require you to be vaccinated, and remain vaccinated during your employment, against some or all of the following vaccine preventable diseases; Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (Chicken Pox), Pertussis (Whooping cough), and Hepatitis.
