Join a well-established Tier 2 builder with a reputation for delivering complex projects across commercial, residential, health, education and government sectors, with project values up to $400M.
With a strong pipeline of secured work across multiple sectors, they are now looking to appoint a Contract Administrator to join the team on a high-end $50M residential development in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs.
The Role
- Manage the procurement and administration of subcontract packages, including scope preparation, tendering, negotiations, contract awards and final accounts
- Administer subcontractor progress claims, variations, cost forecasting and commercial reporting to ensure the project remains on budget
- Assist with head contract administration, including progress claims, external variations, contractual correspondence and risk management
- Coordinate RFIs, consultant communication and subcontractor engagement to support programme delivery and minimise commercial risk
- Work closely with the Project Manager and wider delivery team to ensure the successful commercial delivery of the project
Contract Administrator | Tier 2 Builder | $50M High-End Residential Project About You
- Degree qualified in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
- 3+ years' experience as a Contract Administrator with a head contractor in Australia
- Proven experience delivering new build construction projects valued $30M+
- Solid understanding of procurement, subcontract management, cost control and head contract administration
- Detail-oriented with strong commercial acumen, communication skills and the ability to work within a high-performing project team
