This Position Location is Regional and can be based in either Dalby, Chinchilla, Jandowae, Miles, Tara or Wandoan
The Opportunity
Operating from within the Communities Department, you will be responsible for the implementation and delivery of Council's Community Grants Program and support community engagement activities developed to build capacity of community organisation through grants programs. Additionally, you will provide administration support functions for the Community Projects and Grants section.
This role encompasses a range of duties; the key ones include:
Administering Council grant programs across the full lifecycle, including assisting the community with grant enquiries, receiving grant applications, application assessments, acquittal management and reporting while maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
Maintaining the SmartyGrants platform to ensure compliance with Council policies and procedures, and alignment with best practice grant management;
Maintaining a high standard of financial accuracy by processing transactions and undertaking reconciliation activities associated with funding programs;

Proven/Demonstrated experience in:
Administering grant programs using online platforms
Providing a high-quality customer service experience
Planning and delivering community engagement activities
Maintaining information and systems with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to research, analyse and communicate grant funding opportunities.

Leave Loading
