The White Lion Hotel is looking for an experienced and reliable hospitality worker who can perform supervisor duties when required.

This hands-on role is suited to someone who enjoys working in a busy hospitality environment, provides excellent customer service and can confidently support and lead the team when needed.

This position is a minimum 30 hours a week and can be full time for the right candidate.

Key responsibilities include:

- Providing friendly and professional customer service
- Working across daily bar and bistro operations
- Performing supervisor duties when required
- Supporting and guiding staff throughout each shift
- Assisting with opening and closing procedures
- Handling cash, tills and end-of-shift reconciliation
- Maintaining responsible service of alcohol and gaming practices
- Responding professionally to customer enquiries and concerns
- Ensuring the venue remains clean,



safe and compliant
- Assisting with staff training and general venue operations

The successful applicant will have:

- Experience supervising or leading a team
- A current RSA certificate
- A current RSG
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- The ability to remain calm and make decisions in a busy workplace
- Availability to work a flexible roster, including nights, weekends and public holidays
- A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
- An Approved Manager or RMLV qualification would be highly regarded.
