The opportunity

This role is primarily Functional Capacity Assessments (FCA), Home Modifications (Home Mods) and Assistive Technology (AT), with a majority neuro caseload (e.g., stroke and acquired/traumatic brain injury).
- Salary: $85,000–$115,000 + super
- Work type: Full time or part-time
- Where you’ll work: Community visits + WFH for reports + clinic working
- Travel: Local only (typically ≤ 30 minutes)
- KPIs: No hard billable targets- quality over quotas
- Autonomy: Manage your own diary with genuine flexibility
What you’ll do
- Functional Capacity Assessments: Plan and complete FCAs end-to-end for adult clients, producing clear, defensible, goal-aligned reports
- Home Modifications:
Conduct home assessments (minor to complex), liaise with clients, families, builders/tradies and stakeholders; prepare evidence-based recommendations and documentation
- Assistive Technology: Lead AT trials and prescriptions (e.g., seating/wheelchairs, ADL aids, mobility and environmental controls) in partnership with suppliers
- Stakeholder collaboration: Work closely with participants, families, support coordinators, and the MDT to translate goals into functional outcomes
- Clinical quality: Maintain timely documentation and contribute to service improvement

What you will need:
- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
- Full AHPRA registration
- Unrestricted Australian Working Rights
- Minimum 2 years postgraduate experience
