About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Gardener/Grounds Person to join our Cairns‑based team. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role is responsible for delivering day‑to‑day gardening and maintenance services across our property portfolio.

Role Responsibilities:

- Whipper snipping, mowing, and edging
- Pruning, detailing, and general garden upkeep
- Weed control and garden maintenance
- Irrigation troubleshooting and basic maintenance
- General building maintenance




- Operation of gardening and grounds maintenance equipment
- Minor servicing and care of gardening equipment
- Contributing to a safe working environment across all sites
- Assisting with minor maintenance and cleaning tasks as required

The Ideal Candidate:

- Previous experience as a gardener or grounds person
- Current manual Driver’s Licence
- Physically fit and capable of performing outdoor duties
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
- Strong attention to detail and a genuine interest in gardening
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Calm and capable when working in occasionally stressful situations
- Transparent and effective communication skills
- Has a “can do” attitude and is happy to help out across the team
