About the Role

As an Operator, you'll maintain the safe and efficient production of liquid aluminium.

Responsibilities may include:

- Working safely within a team environment
- Operating forklifts, cranes and specialised equipment
- Supporting production processes and schedules
- Maintaining high housekeeping standards
- Following standard operating procedures
- Demonstrating our values of Teamwork, Achieve and Care

What's on Offer

- Initial fixed-term full time contracts with potential for extension and permanency
- Rotating 4-on, 4-off roster of 12-hour shifts
- Starting package of approximately $114,000 - $132,000 including shift allowances and leisure day options

About You

We're looking for people who can demonstrate:

- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Commitment to health, safety and environmental standards
- Reliability and strong work ethic
- Experience maintaining workplace standards and quality
- Great communication and teamwork skills
- Basic computer skills
- The ability to perform manual tasks in a hot industrial environment

The following are advantageous, but not essential, as we will provide the training and support to help you succeed.

- Forklift Licence
- CB Crane Licence
- Previous shift work experience
- Experience in manufacturing, mining, processing, logistics or similar industries

Operator roles involve manual work, shift work and working in a hot industrial environment. To ensure the safety and wellbeing of our people, successful candidates will be required to complete a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing, to confirm their ability to safely perform the inherent requirements of the role in accordance with Tomago Aluminium's Fitness for Work Policy.
