Regional Business Development Manager - NDIS, SIL & SDA

Value Care is a leading NDIS provider delivering Supported Independent Living (SIL), Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA), Community Participation and Complex Support services across New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria and South Australia.

As part of our expansion across Maitland, Port Stephens, Newcastle and the Lower Hunter Region, we are seeking an experienced, highly connected local professional to lead business development, build referral partnerships and help create life-changing housing opportunities for people living with disability.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing organisation and play a key role in expanding our disability accommodation services across Maitland, Port Stephens, Newcastle and the Lower Hunter Region.

Value Care provides a comprehensive range of specialised disability support services, including Supported Independent Living (SIL), Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA), Short-Term Accommodation (STA), Medium-Term Accommodation (MTA), respite care, dementia support, end-of-life and palliative care, complex nursing supports and community participation. Our experienced multidisciplinary team is committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care tailored to each participant's individual needs.

About the Role

This is not a traditional sales role.

We are looking for someone who already has robust professional relationships across the specified regions and understands the local disability, health and community sectors.

You will represent Value Care by building trusted relationships with hospitals, Support Coordinators, Local Area Coordinators, allied health professionals, guardians, families and community organisations to support participant referrals into our SIL and SDA services.

Key Responsibilities





- Build and strengthen referral partnerships throughout the specified regions.

- Develop strong relationships with Maitland Hospital, John Hunter Hospital and other local health services.

- Engage with Support Coordinators, LACs, allied health providers, discharge planners, mental health teams and community organisations.

- Promote Value Care's Supported Independent Living (SIL) and Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) services.

- Promote Value Care's full range of specialised disability support services, including STA, MTA, respite, dementia support, end-of-life care, palliative care and nursing services.

- Work with referral partners to identify participants requiring specialised supports and connect them with the most appropriate Value Care services and accommodation.

- Coordinate participant enquiries, property inspections and successful transitions into accommodation.

- Attend networking events and represent Value Care within the local community.

- Work closely with operational teams to maintain high occupancy across our accommodation portfolio.

- Identify opportunities to expand Value Care's presence throughout Maitland, Port Stephens, Newcastle and the Lower Hunter Region.

- Develop referral pathways for participants requiring specialised supports.

- Support participants to access the most appropriate services and accommodation to meet their individual needs.

About You

You are passionate about improving outcomes for people living with disability and are already recognised within the specified regions.

You may currently work or have experience as a:

- Business Development Manager





- Support Coordinator

- NDIS Service Manager

- Hospital Social Worker

- Community Development Officer

- Allied Health Practice Manager

- Disability Services Manager

- Local Area Coordinator

- Mental Health or Community Services Professional

Essential Requirements

- Demonstrated experience within the NDIS or community services sector.

- Existing professional network across the specified regions.

- Strong understanding of SIL and/or SDA pathways (highly desirable).

- Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills.

- Current Australian Driver Licence.

- Own reliable vehicle.

- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).

- Working With Children Check (where applicable).
