We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Head of Junior School to join our community in a permanent full time capacity commencing Term 1, 2027.

Pacific Coast Christian School is a dynamic Prep to Year 12 co-educational Christian learning community committed to developing and nurturing our students. It is a well-established school located in Tweed Heads on the far north coast of NSW and is part of the Pacific Group of ten Christian schools, with six of these schools located in regional NSW.The School emphasises excellence and growth in Christian character with its vision being 'to provide a Christian educational community as a centre of teaching, learning, and serving excellence founded on Biblically based beliefs, values, and behaviour'.A distinctive of Pacific Coast is our commitment to Christian service.

Under delegation of the Principal, and as part of the School Leadership Team, the Head of Junior School is to contribute to the development and maintenance of the overall culture and climate of the School with specific consideration and advocacy for the particularly distinct needs of all students. They are to ensure the implementation of the School’s vision and policies through the development and maintenance of School practice that is in keeping with the overall ethos and climate of Pacific Coast Christian School.

Qualifications and Experience

- Personal Christian faith and a commitment to this community of faith and practice
- Appropriate tertiary qualifications in education
- 5 years experience in teaching
- 2 years experience in educational leadership
- Depth of understanding of the principles of Christian education.




- Exemplary teaching practice.
- Highly developed administrative skills.
- Highly effective written and oral communication skills.
- Highly developed interpersonal and relational skills.
- Capacity to develop policy and curriculum aligned to the School’s vision and to implement policy in procedures
