The role: This is a senior role for a data modeler who can design, document and implement data modelling solutions to support the organisations information management, data analytics and other data-driven initiatives.
What you'll be doing:
- Translate dynamic business requirements into high-quality conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
- Design schemas optimised for multi-tier refinement layers, establishing clear data definitions from raw ingestion to curated consumption marts.
- Maintain comprehensive mapping specifications and data dictionaries while ensuring a seamless, documented handover to data engineers.
Desired Skills and Experiences:
- Proven expertise utilising both 3NF (Relational) and Dimensional modeling (Star Schema) methods in enterprise data warehouse environments.
- Experience designing models within up-to-date cloud environments (Azure/Databricks preferred) using Medallion Architecture principles.
- Commercial ERP software like SAP and experience in large-scale regulated environments being highly advantageous.
