Hagan Furniture & Timberwork and Hagan Coatings are seeking an experienced Polisher / 2‑Pack Painter to join our Toowoomba team. This full‑time role focuses on timber finishing, spray painting, and applying high‑quality 2‑pack polyurethane coatings to bespoke furniture and custom timber pieces.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare timber surfaces for finishing (sanding, filling, smoothing)
- Apply 2‑pack coatings, polyurethane finishes, lacquers, stains, and other specialist finishing products
- Operate polishing and spray painting equipment
- Some experience with spray painting equipment is required
- Work closely with the workshop and coatings teams to maintain efficient workflow
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment
- Ensure all finishes meet premium furniture industry standards
About You
- Experience in 2‑pack painting,
furniture polishing, timber finishing, or related spray‑coating roles
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high craftsmanship standards
- Knowledge of coatings, lacquers, stains, polyurethanes, and finishing products
- Reliable, self‑motivated, and able to work independently or within a team
- Robust focus on workplace safety and producing high‑quality results
