About the role
This role is ideally suited to someone who enjoys working with people, animals and a busy clinic team. You will be the first point of contact for our clients and will play an important role in creating a warm, professional and welcoming experience while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the clinic.
Key responsibilities include:
- Greeting clients and patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Answering phones, managing enquiries and booking appointments
- Processing payments and maintaining accurate client and patient records
- Supporting veterinarians and nurses with daily clinic administration and workflow
About you
We are looking for someone who is reliable, approachable and able to stay calm and organised in a busy workplace. Previous veterinary reception or animal care experience is preferred, but training can be provided for the right person.
- Previous experience in a veterinary or medical reception role highly regarded
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong organisation and attention to detail
- Confidence using computers and learning clinic software systems
- A positive, team-focused attitude
- The ability to multitask and prioritise in a busy reception environment
- A genuine care for clients, patients and the wider team
