Dispensary Technician – Watsons Collaroy Plateau

Watsons Pharmacy is seeking an experienced Dispensary Technician to join our friendly community pharmacy in Collaroy Plateau.

This is a part-time position working Monday, Thursday and Friday . There may be an opportunity for the role to increase to full-time hours in approximately six months, depending on business requirements and the successful candidate’s availability.

This position would suit an experienced pharmacy professional who takes pride in accurate dispensing support, efficient workflow and delivering dependable service to patients.

About the Role

Working closely with the pharmacy team, your responsibilities will include:

- Assisting pharmacists with the preparation and dispensing of prescriptions
- Preparing and maintaining Webster-pak Dose Administration Aids
- Supporting the day-to-day workflow of the dispensary
- Maintaining accurate patient and medication records
- Monitoring and replenishing dispensary stock
- Following pharmacy procedures and relevant quality standards
- Providing professional and courteous service to customers





Skills and Experience

To be considered for this position, you will ideally have:

- Previous experience as a Dispensary Technician in an Australian community pharmacy is highly regarded.
- Experience preparing Webster-packs or other Dose Administration Aids
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
- Good organisational and time-management skills
- A cooperative and reliable approach to teamwork
- Clear and professional communication skills
- The right to live and work in Australia

Previous community pharmacy experience and relevant pharmacy qualifications will be highly regarded.

This is a Part-time position working:

The role may increase to full-time hours in approximately six months.
