As our client's team based in Townsville is growing, we are seeking a Trade Qualified Fitter for a project.

The successful applicant will have a high regard for quality, safety and communication and customer relation skills. You will be exposed to a range of opportunities to develop your skills within a highly supportive team-based workplace.

Duties/Responsibilities

- Carrying out a range of mechanical works on fixed and mobile process equipment
- Assemble spooling and mechanical components including valves and instruments to the required standard
- Maintenance tasks, inspections and warranty repairs
- Ensure equipment is maintained to industry and regulatory requirements
- Assist with fabrication works




- Monitor and ensure all quality standards are met.

Requirements

- Construction Card
- Experience with structural steel install
- Structural steel and piping experience
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and written documentation, including Isometric and PID's
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Ability to comply with the SELECT and common industry "Fitness for Work" policies
