Join our busy production team maintaining the nursery grounds across several sites in Silverdale. This role includes maintenance of grounds and container production stock, with over 500 plant varieties in our range. Key Responsibilities:
- Pruning, staking, fertilizing, spraying and weeding plants
- Mowing lawns with ride-on mower
- Repairs to irrigation lines
- Plant production & General Nursery Duties
- Use of tractors and nursery machinery
Key Attributes:
- Be fit and healthy (this is aphysically demanding role)
- Willing to work as part of an all-weathers, outdoor Team environment
- Follows directions easily
- Positive verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated with initiative to take action
- Eye for detail with plant maintenance and presentation
- Plant knowledge essential and experience with nursery machinery an advantage
- Own vehicle and drivers licence essential
