About the Role

Our Mt Kelly Operations, supporting the Lady Annie mine and located approximately 120km north-northwest of Mount Isa, has been an operational copper mine for over 10 years. We are currently seeking a skilled and safety-focused Camp Maintenance Electrician/Refrigeration Mechanic to join our maintenance team and support the safe, reliable operation of our camp, village, and associated site facilities.

What You'll Do

Reporting to the Electrical Department (PCEW) and working within the Site Services Maintenance team, you will carry out electrical maintenance, inspections, fault finding, refrigeration support, and repairs across camp accommodation, kitchens, laundries, offices, water services, split systems and other site facilities. This is a hands-on role where your work directly supports the comfort, safety and day-to-day experience of our people onsite.

Key Responsibilities





- Carry out routine electrical maintenance and inspections across camp accommodation, kitchens, laundries, offices and site facilities
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults to minimise disruption to camp and site services
- Carry out repairs, replacements and basic maintenance support for refrigeration equipment and split system air-conditioning units across camp and site facilities
- Assist with electrical upgrades, installations and improvement works across camp and site infrastructure
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with site procedures, electrical standards and compliance requirements
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance, inspections, repairs and corrective actions
- Work closely with site maintenance and operations teams to deliver practical, reliable electrical support

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a reliable and safety-focused electrician who takes pride in quality workmanship, enjoys variety in their day, and understands the importance of keeping camp and site facilities operating smoothly. You will be someone who communicates well, works well with others, and is comfortable taking ownership of maintenance tasks in a busy site environment.

Key Requirements

- Qualified electrician with experience in camp, village, facilities, mining, industrial or commercial maintenance environments




- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, fault finding, maintenance practices and relevant electrical safety requirements
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a wider maintenance team
- Commitment to working safely and maintaining a high standard of workStrong communication and collaboration skills

Highly regarded but not essential:

- Refrigeration mechanic qualification or experience with refrigeration equipment, split system air-conditioning repairs, replacements or maintenance support
- High Risk Licence - EWP (WP) & Forklift (LF)
- Working at heights
