Community Health Nurse

Location: Doomadgee, Queensland Contract Length: 6-12 Weeks Start Date: July 20th Pay Rate: From $75.00 per hour (depending on experience)

What you'll be doing

- Deliver comprehensive primary and community health nursing services.
- Complete health assessments and chronic disease management.
- Provide immunisations, health promotion and preventative care.
- Deliver wound care, medication management and care coordination.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Build respectful relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to quality patient outcomes.

What we're looking for

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Minimum two years' experience in Community Health, Primary Health Care or Rural and Remote Nursing.
- Robust assessment, clinical decision-making and communication skills.
- Current National Police Check.




- Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain if required).
- Current immunisation evidence.
- Current CPR certificate.
- Current driver's licence.
- Two recent clinical references.
