We're seeking a proactive and hands-on Maintenance Technician to join our team at our exciting new off-site laundry facility, supporting the operations of The Ville Precinct.
This is a varied role that combines equipment maintenance, facilities upkeep, deliveries and operational support. As a key member of the team, you'll help ensure our modern laundry operation runs efficiently while maintaining a safe, clean and well-presented site.

About the Role
As our Maintenance Technician, you'll play an important role in supporting the day-to-day operation of our new off-site laundry facility. From maintaining essential equipment to coordinating and conducting deliveries and ensuring the site is kept in excellent condition, you'll be involved in all aspects of keeping the operation running smoothly. In this role, you will:
- Perform preventative maintenance on commercial laundry equipment and machinery.
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs to minimise equipment downtime.
- Complete routine maintenance activities and maintain accurate service records.
- Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment as required.
- Deliver and collect linen and laundry items between sites.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and maintain delivery documentation.
- Maintain the cleanliness, presentation and general upkeep of the facility.
- Perform basic grounds maintenance and minor building repairs.
- Promote safe work practices and assist with workplace health and safety initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve equipment performance and operational efficiency.
About You
You are practical, reliable and enjoy hands-on work. You have strong problem-solving skills, can work independently and take pride in delivering quality outcomes. You will also bring:
- Previous experience in a maintenance, facilities, mechanical or trade-related role.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- A current driver's licence.
- The ability to prioritise tasks and work autonomously.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to workplace health and safety.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Trade qualifications are not essential; however, qualifications or experience in mechanical maintenance, electrical, facilities, transport, fitting, maintenance services or a similar setting will be highly regarded.
