NorthWestern BreastScreen – Breast Imaging Fellow
This is a 6‑month Fixed Term Part Time position at 60.2 hours per fortnight commencing 1st February 2027 and ending 1st August 2027.
Unit Description
NorthWestern BreastScreen is part of Melbourne Health with direct links to the Royal Melbourne Hospital and the Royal Women’s Hospital breast service.
The service screens approximately 50,000 women per year and provides three assessment clinics per week. This is a unique opportunity to join a strong multidisciplinary team and learn from expert breast radiologists. Tomosynthesis core biopsies and ultrasound core biopsies are performed on site.
About the role
Provision of radiological breast investigations and reporting under the supervision of BreastScreen radiologists.
About You
- Registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA) or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia (for international medical graduates)
- MBBS or equivalent tertiary qualifications
- Ability to work in a team
- Well‑developed communication and presentation skills
