Heavy Vehicle Mechanic - Mentor and Trainer

With a growing team of young mechanics and apprentices, we are looking for an experienced and mature Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic to share their knowledge, provide hands‑on training, and mentor the next generation at our Macksville Workshop located in the Macksville Industrial Estate.

The Role:
This position is ideal for a seasoned tradesperson who enjoys working on heavy vehicles but also has the patience and leadership to guide and develop younger staff members. While you’ll still be hands‑on in the workshop, your primary focus will be on mentoring, teaching, and ensuring safe and efficient work practices are upheld.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide technical guidance and on-the-job training to apprentices and junior mechanics.
- Carry out inspections, diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on heavy vehicles and diesel engines.
- Share knowledge and practical skills to develop the team’s confidence and capabilities.




- Promote safe work practices and encourage high standards of workmanship.
- Assist in creating a positive and supportive workshop culture.
