About Stromlo Forest Anglican College

As the nation’s first net-zero, vertical, and sustainable Early Education to Year 12 school, we are committed to fostering a learning environment where academic growth and a strong sense of belonging meet deep community connections. A Journey of Co-Creation

As a founding Early Childhood Educator, you will play a pivotal role in bringing our vision to life. You will work collaboratively with a passionate, dedicated team to design and implement a high-quality, inquiry-based curriculum inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy and guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).

We are looking for Early Childhood Educator to join our team.

As an Early Childhood Educator, you will be a vital member of our team, working in close partnership with our Early Childhood Educators to create a nurturing, stimulating, and responsive learning environment for our youngest learners.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with the teaching team to plan and implement engaging and developmentally appropriate learning experiences.
- Build warm, respectful, and reciprocal relationships with children and families.
- Actively participate in documenting children’s learning and development.
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive,



and collaborative team culture.
- Support the daily routines and operations of the Early Education School.

Qualifications:

- Cert III Early Childhood Education and Care (or working towards, ACECQA-approved).
- A sound knowledge of the EYLF and NQS.
- A genuine interest in and commitment to learning about the Reggio Emilia philosophy and inquiry-based practice.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A warm, nurturing, and positive disposition.
