- Cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, living and dining areas
- Maintaining cleanliness in communal and high-traffic areas
- General cleaning duties including floors, surfaces, kitchens and common areas
- Rubbish removal and restocking of supplies
- Adhering to strict infection control, hygiene and safety protocols
- Reporting maintenance or safety concerns promptly
- Assisting with movement of equipment and stock as required
About you:
- Previous cleaning or aged care experience is essential
- Currently hold, or able to obtain and maintain relevant compliance requirements, including a National Police Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check and influenza vaccination
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleaning standards
- Strong English communication skills and confident interpersonal skills
- Understanding of the importance of hygiene, presentation and resident dignity in an aged care environment
