We are seeking a qualified Maintenance Electrician with strong mechanical aptitude to join our industrial laundry operations on a permanent night shift . This role is ideal for a hands‑on tradesperson who enjoys fault-finding, preventative maintenance, and keeping production equipment running reliably overnight.

You will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting industrial laundry machinery , conveyors, motors, pumps, washers , dryers , ironing lines , pneumatics, and control systems to ensure smooth overnight operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Electrical fault-finding and repairs on industrial equipment




- Preventative and reactive maintenance on production machinery
- Mechanical troubleshooting (bearings, belts, chains, gearboxes, pumps)
- VSDs, motors, sensors, and basic PLC fault diagnosis
- Responding to breakdowns and minimising downtime during night shift
- Ensuring all work complies with WHS and electrical safety standards
- Accurate maintenance reporting and handover to day shift

About You

- NSW Licensed Electrician (essential)
- Strong mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial environment
- Experience with motors, VSDs, conveyors, pumps, PLC s and pneumatic systems
- Ability to work independently on night shift
- Logical fault-finding skills and calm approach under pressure
- Previous experience in industrial laundry, manufacturing, food processing, or FMCG highly regarded
