Your Role
As a Civil Designer / Drafter, you will work closely with experienced engineers and drafters. You will be supported as you expand your skills and demonstrate a strong understanding of civil engineering documentation and standards.
This is a genuine long‑term career pathway role.
What You’ll Be Learning & Doing
- preparation of civil engineering drawings and documentation
- AutoCAD (and exposure to other industry software over time)
- Support engineers with design documentation and revisions
- Expand your understanding of Australian Standards and council requirements
- Build and develop strong technical, organisational and communication skills
What We’re Looking For
- Candidates must have completed Year 12, as this is an essential requirement for the position
- An interest in civil engineering, drafting or design
- A strong willingness to learn and take direction
- Good attention to detail and time‑management skills
- Basic computer literacy (AutoCAD exposure is a bonus, not essential)
- A current driver’s license would be an advantage
- No prior industry experience is required — full training will be provided.
