Due to the continued growth at Ballina Toyota and solid customer demand a position has become available for an Automotive Technician / Motor Mechanic.

Responsibilities

- Providing expert advice in relation to current mechanical condition of vehicles
- Taking all necessary steps to diagnose to ensure the correct operation of vehicles.
- Diagnose and Repair the mechanical parts of the motor vehicle such as the engine, transmission and the suspension systems
- Providing guidance and training to apprentice service technicians
- Maintaining a safe working environment through ensuring the correct operation of all tools and specialised equipment.
- Demonstrate behaviours that align with company policies, organisational values.
- Contribute to building a positive team spirit.

Requirements

- Must hold a current driver's licence with the ability to drive manual and automatic.
- Excellent problem solving skills with quality workmanship and an eye for detail
- Previous dealership experience will be highly regarded but not essential.
- Road worthy and air conditioning tickets are desirable
