We are seeking a Trainee Finance Broker to join the dynamic team at Credit Choice Finance in Townsville, QLD. This is a full-time position offering an exciting entry point into the financial services industry. As a Trainee Finance Broker, you will be working alongside experienced brokers to develop your expertise in providing clients with tailored financial solutions. This role is fundamental to our growth strategy, as it allows us to nurture talent whilst building robust client relationships and expanding our market presence in the region.
What you'll be doing
Assisting clients through the initial consultation process to understand their financial needs and circumstances
Gathering and organizing client documentation required for loan applications and financial assessments
Learning to analyse client financial profiles and recommend appropriate financial products and lending solutions
Supporting the preparation and submission of loan applications to lenders on behalf of clients
Liaising between clients, lenders and internal teams to ensure smooth transaction processing
Maintaining detailed and accurate records of client interactions and transactions
Developing knowledge of various loan products, interest rates and lending criteria across multiple financial institutions
Building client relationships and contributing to a professional and welcoming service experience
Participating in training and professional development to build broking expertise and industry qualifications
What we’re looking for

Numeracy and analytical ability, with comfort working with financial information and data

High school completion or equivalent qualification
A genuine interest in the financial services industry and commitment to developing broking expertise
Willingness to obtain relevant financial services licenses and qualifications as required by the role
Strong computer skills and familiarity with standard office software applications
Preferred: Previous experience in customer service, banking or financial services environments
