Fabrika Engineering Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Welder (First Class) to join our busy fabrication workshop in Smithfield, NSW. The successful applicant will carry out welding and fabrication work on a range of steel products while maintaining high standards of workmanship and workplace safety.
Key Duties
- Assemble fabricated steel components.
- Repair and modify fabricated products as required.
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain a clean and protected work area.
- Work effectively with other workshop staff.
Essential Requirements
- Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade (Welding) or equivalent qualification.
- At least three years of relevant full-time experience.
- Demonstrated experience in MIG welding and steel fabrication.
- Ability to read workshop drawings and fabricate to specification.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Commitment to workplace health and safety.
Desirable
- Experience with TIG, Stick or Flux Core welding.
- Forklift licence or overhead crane experience.
