Engage Ag is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team on a full-time basis . Based in Toowoomba, QLD , this role is crucial to delivering exceptional service to our customers across the region. As a Field Service Technician, you will be the face of Engage Ag in the field, providing expert technical support, maintenance, and repairs to ensure our customers' equipment operates at peak performance. This position offers the opportunity to work independently whilst being part of a supportive team dedicated to excellence in the automotive trades sector.

Key responsibilities

- Diagnose and repair construction and agricultural equipment, identifying faults and implementing effective solutions
- Perform routine maintenance and servicing on vehicles and machinery to ensure optimal performance and longevity
- Respond promptly to customer service calls and manage time effectively to complete multiple jobs throughout the day
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide accurate assessments
- Maintain detailed records of all work completed, including parts used, labour time, and customer communication
- Communicate clearly with customers about work performed, costs, and recommendations for future maintenance
- Ensure all work meets safety standards and complies with relevant industry regulations and company policies
- Keep your vehicle, tools, and equipment in excellent working condition and organised for efficiency
- Contribute to continuous improvement by providing feedback on common issues and customer requirements

What we’re looking for

- A recognised automotive trade qualification or equivalent hands-on experience in vehicle or equipment servicing and repair
- Proven experience working as a field service technician or in a similar automotive trades role
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with the ability to work through complex technical challenges independently
- A valid Australian driving licence with a clean driving record,



as extensive travel throughout the Darling Downs region is required
- Excellent communication skills and a professional, customer-focused approach to service delivery
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and software commonly used in the automotive industry
- Physical capability to perform manual tasks, including lifting, climbing, and working in various weather conditions
- Time management skills and the ability to prioritise multiple service calls effectively
- A commitment to safety, attention to detail, and a willingness to maintain high standards of workmanship
- Preferably, experience with agricultural equipment or machinery would be highly valued
