About the Role
Working alongside the Nominated Supervisor, you’ll play a key leadership role in the day-to-day operations of the service while leading educational practice across the team.
You’ll be responsible for:
Leading and mentoring educators
Supporting programming and planning in line with MTOP V2.0
Coaching educators through the planning cycle and reflective practice
Supporting rosters, ratios, and daily operations
Acting as Responsible Person when required
Stepping into Directors role as required
Building positive relationships with children, families, and the wider school community
Driving continuous improvement and contributing to the Quality Improvement Plan
Creating an inclusive, child-focused culture where every child belongs
About You
You’ll thrive in this role if you are:

Diploma qualification in Children’s Services, School Age Education and Care or equivalent (working towards Diploma considered)
Current Blue Card
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications
Current Child Protection training (Geckko Training and CHCPRT025 or CHCPRT001 or willingness to obtain)
Sound knowledge of MTOP V2.0, the National Quality Framework, National Law and Regulations
Previous leadership experience or demonstrated leadership capability
Ability to accept the role of Responsible Person
Highly Regarded
Previous experience as an Educational Leader or similar leadership role
Experience mentoring educators and leading programming practices
Experience with CCS and childcare management systems
Strong understanding of Assessment and Rating processes
