Service Technician – 6–12 Month Assignment

Our client is a global leader in professional power tools and equipment, and they're looking for a motivated Service Technician to join their friendly workshop team in Murarrie.

What You'll Be Doing

No two days are exactly the same! You'll be responsible for diagnosing faults, repairing, servicing, and testing a variety of professional power tools and equipment in a workshop environment .

Your work will help ensure products are repaired efficiently, returned to customers in excellent working condition, and meet the high quality standards the business is known for.

Your day-to-day will include:

- Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs
- Servicing and testing power tools and equipment
- Using hand and power tools safely and confidently
- Recording repair information using internal systems
- Working closely with your teammates to achieve workshop turnaround targets
- Keeping your work area clean, organised, and safe

What You'll Be Doing

What We're Looking For

Ideally, you'll have:

- Qualifications in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical , or a related field (preferred)
- Experience repairing, diagnosing, or fault-finding electrical or mechanical equipment
- Confidence using hand and power tools
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new systems
- Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
- Excellent reliability and punctuality—we're looking for someone the team can count on
- A team-first attitude and willingness to learn
