Ready to work somewhere you feel supported, valued and excited to come to each day?

TLC Early Learning is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Early Childhood Teacher to join our close-knit team.

This is more than just another childcare role. It is an opportunity to become part of a supportive, family-owned service where your ideas are welcomed, your professional growth is encouraged, and your contribution to children's learning genuinely matters.

At TLC, we believe children deserve educators who see them as capable, curious and confident learners. We are looking for someone who shares this belief and wants to create meaningful, engaging and high-quality learning experiences every day.

What You’ll Be Doing

As an Early Childhood Teacher at TLC, you will:

- Plan, implement and evaluate engaging, play-based learning programs tailored to the interests, strengths and needs of your chosen age group.
- Create inspiring learning environments that encourage curiosity, creativity, independence and exploration.
- Support children's physical, social, emotional, language and cognitive development through responsive and individualised teaching.
- Build genuine relationships with children and ensure their voices, ideas and choices are heard, respected and reflected within the program.
- Maintain a high level of child safety and child protection knowledge, and actively embed the Child Safe Standards throughout your daily practice.
- Maintain accurate observations, assessments, planning records and documentation.
- Work collaboratively with families, educators, leadership and the wider community.
- Model high-quality practice in accordance with the National Law, National Regulations, National Quality Standard and Early Years Learning Framework.
- Participate in paid professional development, staff training and ongoing child safety learning.
- Contribute your own strengths,

interests and ideas to the continued growth of our service.

What We’re Looking For

We would love to hear from you if you have:

- An approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification, or are working towards an approved qualification.
- A strong commitment to child safety and the wellbeing of every child.
- A genuine passion for early childhood education.
- Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework V2.0 and National Quality Standard.
- An understanding of the National Law and Regulations.
- Strong communication, organisation and interpersonal skills.
- Confidence building respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues.
- A current Working With Children Check.
- The ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Flexibility, reliability and a positive attitude.
- A willingness to reflect, learn, grow and contribute new ideas.

Why You’ll Love Working at TLC

We know that educators provide their best care and teaching when they also feel cared for, supported and appreciated.

A Leadership Team That Supports You

You will be supported by an approachable leadership team, including our Approved Provider, Nominated Supervisor, and 2IC.

We are present, involved and committed to helping you succeed in your role.

Paid Professional Development

We provide regular, paid professional development and mandatory child safety training to strengthen your confidence, knowledge and qualified practice.

A Genuine Commitment to Child Safety

Child safety is not simply a policy at TLC. It is embedded within our culture, environments, relationships and daily decision-making.

We implement the 10 Child Safe Standards and are committed to ensuring every child feels safe, heard, respected and empowered.

Work-Life Balance

We offer flexible work arrangements and a two-week closure period over Christmas, allowing our team time to rest, recharge and spend time with their families.

Other benefits can be discussed during the interview.

A Family-Owned, Community-Focused Service

TLC is a family-owned service with a strong sense of connection, teamwork and community.

You will not be treated like just another staff member. You will be a valued part of our team.

Opportunities to Make the Role Your Own

We welcome educators who bring new ideas, creativity and passion into the service.

Whether you love sustainability, outdoor learning, inclusion, art, music, literacy, STEM, gardening or community engagement, we want you to share your strengths with us.
