Our client is a well‑established structural steel fabrication and construction business based in regional New South Wales. It specialises in the manufacture, supply, and installation of structural steel for commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects. The business is committed to delivering high‑quality workmanship while maintaining a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Roster:
11 hour shifts, with 30 minute unpaid meal break.
What you will be doing:
- Read and interpret reinforcement drawings.
- Cut, bend and tie reinforcing steel.
- Install reo mesh, bars and reinforcement cages.
- Place spacers, chairs and reinforcement supports.
- Assist with concrete preparation.
- Work closely with formwork and concreting crews.
- Maintain quality standards and reinforcement tolerances.
- Follow site safety procedures at all times.
What you will need:
- Construction White Card.
- Demonstrated steel fixing experience.
- Current Driver's Licence.
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling.
- Ability to pass Drug & Alcohol screening.
- Ability to obtain/hold Defence site clearance if required.
- Working at Heights.
- EWP.
- Rigging or Dogging tickets.
- Experience on Tier 1 or major infrastructure projects.
- Ability to read structural drawings.
