About Us

Swift Solar and Electrical is a family-owned, CEC Approved solar, battery, and electrical business based in Palmview, servicing customers from the Sunshine Coast down to North Brisbane and up through the Gympie corridor. We're a small, hands-on team that takes pride in quality workmanship and looking after our customers long after the install is done. As we grow, we're looking for an experienced A-Grade Electrician to join us and help deliver on a strong pipeline of solar and battery work.

The Role

You'll be working alongside the owner on residential (and some light commercial) solar, battery, and general electrical jobs across the Sunshine Coast and surrounds. This is a hands-on trade role with real variety, no two days the same and genuine opportunity to grow with the business as we expand. Day to day you'll be:

- Installing and commissioning solar PV systems, battery storage systems, and associated switchboard/metering upgrades
- Carrying out general electrical work including fault finding, switchboard upgrades, and residential/light commercial jobs
- Working to Australian Standards (AS/NZS 3000, AS/NZS 5033, AS/NZS 4777) and all relevant compliance requirements
- Completing accurate paperwork including test and tag, compliance certificates, and job sign-off documentation
- Representing the business professionally on-site — you'll often be the face of the company to our customers
- Working safely and looking out for yourself, your teammates, and the public on every job





What We're Looking For

- Current QLD Electrical Licence (A-Grade / unrestricted)
- CEC accreditation (installer) or willingness to obtain this quickly if not already held
- Solid experience in solar PV and/or battery installation (preferred), we're also open to strong all-round sparkies keen to specialise in solar and battery
- Current driver's licence and reliable transport
- Own hand tools
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability
- A genuine team player who takes pride in their work and can work unsupervised
- Positive communication skills - comfortable talking with customers on-site
