About the Role

Our Affinity division supports more than 22,000 clients through a number of specialist brands, including Not for Profit, Fenton Green and Express Insurance. Operating under a number of delegated authority binders, the team has a strong focus on Professional Indemnity insurance alongside a broad range of SME insurance products. We are seeking an Account Broker or Account Executive to join our team.

Working within a collaborative shared portfolio setting, you'll primarily work in one of our Affinity brands while supporting the broader team. With a significant proportion of renewals managed through our online quote and bind platform, this role focuses on referrals outside our binder arrangements, endorsements, new business and delivering outstanding client service through phone and email based interactions.

Beyond day to day broking, you'll have opportunities to contribute to team initiatives, process improvements and broader business projects, making this an ideal opportunity for someone looking to further develop their career within an established brokerage.

Key Responsibilities

- Work within a designated Affinity brand while supporting the wider shared portfolio.
- Manage client enquiries and deliver exceptional service.
- Build and maintain relationships with underwriting partners.
- Prepare quotations, recent business, endorsements, policy documentation and referrals.
- Manage business within binder authority, and through open market insurers.




- Identify opportunities to retain and grow the Affinity business through cross selling and new business.
- Work collaboratively with the broader Affinity team and business to achieve service, compliance and business objectives.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with legislative, regulatory and internal compliance requirements.
- Contribute to operational improvements, team initiatives and broader business projects.

About You

- Previous experience in an insurance broking or financial services role.
- Tier 1 Broking qualification.
- Knowledge of Skilled Indemnity and SME insurance products highly regarded.
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
- A customer focused approach with the ability to deliver exceptional service.
- Strong organisational skills and time management skills.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality and compliance.
- A proactive approach with a willingness to contribute to team success and continuous improvement.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office, broker and CRM systems, with a willingness to learn and embrace new systems and technology, including AI tools.
