The Role
- The Accounts and Payroll Clerk will support the Director and Branch Managers in all aspects of accounts, financial administration and compliance, record keeping and collections. You’ll be up to date with the day to day financial operations assisting to drive the accuracy, efficiency and financial integrity across the business.
- We are open to working with someone who is looking for permanent part time work (likely 3-4 days a week) or full time work and can be adaptable with hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily reconciliation of financial transactions ensuring the maintaining of accurate records
- Payroll and superannuation obligations
- Reconcile creditor statements and resolve any discrepancies
- Issue customer statements and follow up any outstanding payments
- Financial compliance including BAS, PAYG
- Liase with customers,
suppliers and internal staff regarding financial matters
- Assist with month-end reconciliations and reports for management
- Maintaining accurate filling and financial data
What we’re looking for
- Previous experience in accounts and payroll
- Sounds knowledge of Australian accounting and payroll legislation
- Ability to pick up and learn new software
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Excellent communication and a team-focused attitude
