A timber wall framer / carpenter position is available at Westside Timbers, a Toowoomba based company supplying pre-fabricated timber roof trusses and wall frames as well as a range of other structural timber. Your Knowledge, Skills and Personal Attributes are to include:
- Experience in protected operation of nail guns and saws
- Ability to assemble wall frames from shop drawings
- Willingness to comply with WH&S; policy and tool box meetings.
- An immense attention to detail and accuracy
- Passion for professionalism about your work
- A current driver's licence
- Have your own transport
- A reasonable level of fitness is required
- Able to receive and process instructions
- Reliable, confident and able to work in a team environment.
- Current forklift licence is beneficial
- Relevant certification combined with recent experience in carpentry is beneficial.
- Brand new premises with modern facilities opening in approx 4 weeks.
- Opportunity exists to learn other skills and machinery within the plant.
