This is a full-time, Monday-to-Friday position suited to someone who is confident working in a busy accounts workplace, enjoys keeping things organised and takes pride in getting the details right.

The Role
This is an accounts-focused administration role responsible for supporting the accurate and timely financial administration of a high-volume electrical business.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Processing and generating a high volume of customer invoices accurately and efficiently
- Reviewing job information, timesheets, materials and supporting documentation before invoicing
- Managing Accounts Receivable and following up outstanding accounts
- Processing Accounts Payable and supplier invoices
- Reconciling supplier statements and investigating discrepancies
- Allocating customer payments, credits and overpayments correctly
- Assisting with account enquiries from customers and suppliers
- Maintaining accurate financial and customer records
- Completing day-to-day accounting tasks within Xero
- Working within our job management system, Fergus
- Managing emails and communicating professionally with customers, suppliers and internal staff
- Supporting the wider office team during busy periods
- Ensuring accounts and administration tasks are completed accurately and on time
This role requires someone who can work through a high volume of transactions without compromising accuracy or attention to detail.
What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Previous experience in an accounts administration, bookkeeping or similar role
- Demonstrated experience processing high-volume invoicing
- Experience reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
- Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable experience
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Confidence working with numbers, invoices, credits and account allocations
- Strong knowledge of Xero or similar accounting software
- The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Excellent organisation and time‑management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership of your responsibilities
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Experience within a trade-based, construction or service business will be highly regarded.
Experience using Fergus or another job management system would be an advantage but is not essential.
Australian work rights are required.
