Accounts Receivable Officer – Food Manufacturing
Are you an experienced Accounts Receivable professional who enjoys keeping accounts accurate, resolving customer issues and making sure cash keeps moving?
Fine Foods is looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join our small accounts team at our Coburg North food manufacturing facility.
You will work closely with our Directors, Operations and Payroll teams while managing customer accounts, collections, reconciliations and day-to-day Accounts Receivable activities.
Required
- Previous Accounts Receivable or Credit Control experience
- Experience within manufacturing, food production, FMCG, wholesale or distribution
- Strong B2B collections and account-reconciliation experience
- Confident communication with customers and internal stakeholders
- Strong Excel and accounting-system skills
- Full Australian working rights
Salary: $80,000–$90,000 + superannuation, depending on relevant experience Location: Coburg North, VIC - Full-time, permanent position

About the role
As our Accounts Receivable Officer, you will join a small accounts team and help maintain accurate customer accounts, follow up outstanding payments and resolve account queries.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is organised, confident communicating with customers and comfortable working across a busy manufacturing business.
What you’ll do
- Process customer invoices, credit notes and account adjustments
- Allocate payments and reconcile customer accounts
- Issue customer statements and follow up overdue invoices
- Investigate short payments, deductions and disputed invoices
- Respond to customer account and payment enquiries
- Assist with credit applications, payment terms and account setup
- Maintain accurate customer and debtor records
- Prepare debtor-ageing and Accounts Receivable reports
- Support month-end reconciliations and finance reporting
- Work closely with Directors, Operations, Payroll, Sales and Logistics teams
- Identify opportunities to improve Accounts Receivable processes
What you’ll bring
- At least three years of Accounts Receivable, Credit Control or Collections experience
- Experience managing a busy B2B debtor ledger
- Previous manufacturing, FMCG, wholesale or distribution experience
- Strong invoicing, payment-allocation and reconciliation skills
- Skilled but confident collection and negotiation skills
- Excellent attention to detail and financial accuracy
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience using accounting software or an ERP system
- Strong organisation and time-management skills
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach
