Accounts Receivable Officer

Hours: Monday to Friday | 8.00am – 5.00pm (1-hour lunch break)

Salary: $70,000 – $80,000 + Super

Location: Kilsyth, Victoria

Your Opportunity

As the Accounts Receivable Officer, you'll play a critical role in maintaining the financial health of the business and supporting outstanding customer relationships.

Your success will be measured by your ability to:

- Ensure customer invoices are processed accurately and on time.
- Maintain healthy debtor balances through proactive and professional follow-up.




- Build positive relationships with customers while managing collections respectfully.
- Reconcile customer accounts accurately and resolve payment discrepancies promptly.
- Support month-end reporting and contribute to accurate financial records.
- Work collaboratively with the finance team to deliver exceptional internal customer service.
- Assist the Accounts Payable function during peak periods and provide support across the finance team when required.

Skills & Experience

You'll ideally have

- Previous experience in an Accounts Receivable position.
- Experience with invoicing, debtor management and account reconciliations.
- Strong communication skills and confidence speaking with customers regarding outstanding accounts.
- Experience using accounting software and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
- A positive, team-first attitude and willingness to support others.

Qualifications

Ideally you'll have

- Qualifications in Accounting, Finance or Business(Desirable), or




- Equivalent practical experience within an Accounts Receivable or Finance role.
