About the Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Home Health Finance Operations team. Reporting to the Head of AR & Billing, this role plays a critical part in supporting our Home Health business by ensuring accurate billing, timely reconciliations and effective government subsidy claiming.
You will be the key point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders on accounts matters, combining solid reconciliation skills with empathy, patience and a genuine customer‑first mindset. This is a hands‑on role covering end‑to‑end accounts receivable activities, with a strong focus on unspent management and SAH claiming.
Key responsibilities include
Managing customer billing and invoicing, performing reconciliations and payment allocations,
Maintaining accurate customer records, resolving funding and payment exceptions
Working closely with branches and stakeholders to support smooth billing and claiming cycles.
Contributing to continuous improvement by identifying gaps and improving processes across AR
Process accurate Support at Home claims and exceptions as per the Support at Home Guidelines from Services Australia.
About You
You’re a detail-oriented and customer-focused AR professional who enjoys solving problems and supporting customers through complex billing and funding processes. Ideally,
you will bring experience from healthcare, aged care, home care, patient accounts or a similar finance environment. You have strong Excel and reconciliation skills, communicate clearly and patiently, and take pride in delivering accurate, timely outcomes.
You will bring
At least 2 years’ experience in Accounts Receivable or a similar finance role
Proven experience in Aged Care, home health, healthcare, or Support at Home claiming.
Strong Excel capability (including reconciliation, pivot tables and lookups)
Excellent attention to detail and reconciliation skills A customer‑centric approach with empathy, patience and professionalism
Exposure to billing and receivables systems (e.g. Procura, Salesforce Health Cloud, Dynamics 365 or similar).
Sound understanding of GL and bank reconciliation principles
Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Commerce are desirable
