As an Actuarial Manager, you'll provide technical leadership across some of our most complex and strategically significant initiatives, including retirement product design, fund projections, defined benefit arrangements, mergers and acquisitions, regulatory change, and public policy.
Key responsibilities include
Leading end-to-end actuarial workstreams across strategic projects and business initiatives.
Providing technical oversight, peer review and actuarial sign-off for models, projections, calculations and disclosures.
Driving the development and enhancement of member and fund projection capabilities, retirement modelling and actuarial methodologies.
Leading actuarial support for defined benefit funds, remediation programs and major strategic initiatives.
Contributing actuarial expertise to regulatory change, public policy submissions and industry consultations.
Providing assurance for member-facing calculators, retirement tools and digital solutions.
How do you exceed our expectations?
7+ years' actuarial experience, ideally within superannuation, wealth management, retirement solutions or advanced analytics.
Deep knowledge of the Australian superannuation and wealth management industries, particularly retirement solutions, defined benefit, insurance, legislation and policy.
Actuarial qualification - FIAA required or AIAA working towards the qualification.
Demonstrated track record of leading complex actuarial projects end-to-end, including stakeholder management, peer review and final technical sign-off.
Experience representing an organisation externally (e.g. industry forums, regulators, policy submissions, external actuarial counterparts).
Proficiency and hands-on experience with coding using Matlab/R/Python/Macro.
Basic-to-intermediate proficiency in SQL, PowerBI and Microsoft Azure.
