We're looking for an enthusiastic, organised and proactive Adventure Tourism Officer who enjoys working with people, thrives in a dynamic environment and has a genuine passion for adventure tourism.

About the Role

As the face of Dwellingup Adventures, you'll welcome visitors, assist with bookings, fit customers to mountain bikes, provide local trail information and ensure our hire and retail hub operates smoothly. You'll work independently while also supporting our café and operations teams when required.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver exceptional customer service to visitors from around Australia and overseas.
- Manage bookings for bike hire, watercraft hire, and tours.
- Fit customers to mountain bikes and provide trail information and local recommendations.
- Process sales and customer payments accurately.
- Maintain an attractive, clean and well-stocked retail and reception area.




- Assist with equipment hire in the yard when required.
- Support the Waypoints Bakery Café team during busy periods i.e clearing tables
- Liaise with suppliers and assist with stock ordering.
- Communicate effectively with team members across all areas of the business.
- Ensure workplace health and safety standards are maintained.
- Report customer feedback, compliments and opportunities for improvement to management.

About You

You'll be someone who:

- Has outstanding customer service and communication skills.
- Enjoys working independently and takes initiative.
- Is organised, reliable and able to multitask.
- Has robust administration and computer skills.
- Loves the outdoors and enjoys helping people experience adventure.
- Has an interest in mountain biking, hiking, paddling or tourism (highly regarded).
- Is physically capable of assisting with bikes and hire equipment.
- Can work weekends and public holidays as part of a rotating roster.
