What you'll be doing

- Deliver safe, high-quality midwifery care tailored to the individual needs of women and their families.
- Assess,



monitor and respond to changing clinical situations while advocating for patients and coordinating appropriate referrals.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve positive health outcomes across the continuum of care.
- Supervise, mentor and support students and other staff, fostering a positive learning environment.
- Manage resources effectively while maintaining professional, ethical and culturally respectful practice in a busy clinical setting.

Essential Criteria

Registration: Current Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Midwife

- 1. Previous relevant clinical experience in speciality.
- 2. Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work.
- 3. Demonstrated effective communication skills both written and verbal.
- 4. Ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
- 5. Commitment to continuing professional development.
- 6. Effective interpersonal skills showing initiative and leadership to junior members of the team.
